Who we are and how this site is funded

AppDesk is an independent information site for Nigerian readers who use betting apps. We do not accept bets, hold money or pay out winnings. What we do is explain how the apps, logins and accounts behind those services work, and what a reader can do when something goes wrong. If you have ever been locked out of an account, waited on a pending withdrawal, or watched an app fail to load on match day, this site is written for you.

What this site publishes, and for whom

Our readers are adults in Nigeria who already use, or are about to use, a betting app. Some are opening an account for the first time and want to know what a sign-up asks for. Others have used the same app for years and only go looking for answers when a login stops working or a balance does not look right.

The guides here cover the practical parts of that experience:

  • How registration, login and verification steps usually work across betting apps
  • What account settings and limits are for, and how to change them
  • Why an app might fail to load, log in or update, and the usual causes
  • What to check before contacting support, and what support can and cannot do
  • How withdrawals, deposits and account checks are handled in naira

We review betting apps and accounts as a category. A guide may compare how several operators handle the same task, but the subject is always the app or the account, not one bookmaker held above the rest.

Where our information comes from

Every guide is written from the operators' own published pages and terms. That means the help centres, FAQ pages, terms and conditions, and app store listings that a bookmaker puts out itself. We do not rely on rumours, screenshots passed around on social media, or second-hand claims about how a service behaves.

Betting apps change. Menus move, verification rules tighten, and login flows get redesigned. When an operator updates its published pages, we check the affected guides again and correct anything that no longer matches. Where a guide describes a step that differs between apps, we say so rather than presenting one app's process as the rule for all of them.

We are not a bookmaker and have no access to any player's account. We cannot look up a balance, approve a withdrawal, unlock a login or chase a complaint on your behalf. What we can do is set out how these systems normally work, so you know what to expect and what to ask.

Independence and how the site earns

This site is independent of every bookmaker. No operator owns us, reviews our drafts, or approves what we publish. We take no bets, hold no customer money and pay out nothing. Any money you deposit with a bookmaker stays with that bookmaker, under its terms, not ours.

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and sign up with an operator, the site may earn a commission. This costs you nothing extra, and it does not change what a guide says. A commission arrangement is never a reason to describe an app more kindly, skip a known problem, or leave out a step that tends to cause trouble. Guides are written to answer the reader's question first.

Everything here is for readers aged 18 and over. Betting involves money and risk, and it should only ever be done by adults who can afford to lose what they stake. If betting has stopped being a pastime for you, step away from the app and seek proper support.
